Kristin has served the human resource profession for nearly 14 years working in the staffing and consulting industries after earning a Master of Science in Management degree from Baker University and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Washburn University. She has been certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the Human Resource Certification Institute since 2003. In 2011, Kristin earned the CERP designation from The Retention Institute.
Kristin co-authored Power Tools, was nominated as Topeka's Human Resource Professional of the year (2005), and served as President of the Topeka Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Chapter. Kristin is currently serving as co-chair of People Between Jobs Ministry at Topeka Bible Church.

Melissa Rau

Melissa has more than 25 years of
experience in Senior Executive Human Resource overseeing Human Resource Departments for organizations from 50 to 400 employees. She has played a key role in the formation of the Human Resource Departments for the banking and insurance services, law and CPA practices. Melissa has proven success in building high performance teams and leading change in competitive business industries. She has expertise in leadership development, motivation and encouraging success.
Melissa has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washburn University and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Managers. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Topeka Volunteer Center and was nominated by her employer for the YWCA Outstanding Women Leadership Award. Melissa served on the Business and Education Comer Partnership Board for the Topeka School District.
